Eyelash and eyebrow tinting
Q: Can I wear mascara on my eyelashes or pencil/power on my eyebrows ?
A: That is fine, Please make sure you don't use waterproof mascara, because it takes longer to clean off and I will clean off your makeup using our tintin products. This is to make sure there is no residue of oil or mascara waterproof as this can affect the absorption of the colour tinting during treatment.
Q: I wear my contact lenses and I don’t have much vision without glasses?
A: No worries there. For eyelash tinting, you will need to take out your contact lens and close your eyes when the treatment starts. I will stay with you with my hand on your upper shoulder should you require it. So, you know I am here. By the way, if you don't take out your contact lenses, that will risk irritating the eyeline and around that area.
Q: I have sensitive skin and this includes the skin around the eye areas. Would this stop me having a tint ?
A: Our products for the eyes are enhanced for sensitive skin and you will need a test patch at least 48 hours before treatment.
Q: I have used eyelash and eyebrow tinting before with another therapist / beauty salon so I don't need a patch test?
A: With all therapists,it is preferable to a patch test , 48 hours before treatment. This is because we probably use a different range of product brands. It is in my Health and Safety protocol strictly to do this to protect our clients to feel safe and secure.
Q: I have never done eyelash or Eyebrow tinting before. What should I do?
A: For the first time to receive eyelash or eyebrow treatment, we recommend to use a test patch under the ear lobe or middle of arm for 48 hours to see if there is a bad reaction or allergy before making an appointment.
